Dr. Matthew Mattox is the proud owner of In Alignment, PC a Physical Therapy business that positions patients to THRIVE by helping them prevent and eliminate chronic pain while restoring and optimizing their bodily function. He is excited to Partner with the Garden of Eden Health Center.

Dr. Mattox grew up in Southern Maryland and moved to Richmond to pursue his passion of becoming a Physical Therapist at Virginia Commonwealth University. He went on to get his Posture and Ergonomic certifications from the American Posture Institute.

Dr. Mattox plays five instruments (piano, drums, saxophone, guitar, and clarinet), he is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys spending quality time with his wife. He is also the vice-chair of the Christian Physical Rehab Professionals, a specialty section of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations.

Through Physical Therapy it is his goal to help his patients prevent and eliminate pain so they can be pain-free, healthy, and fit to do the things they love for as long as they desire.
